Colosseum daytime underground tour ( The Colosseum's “ hypogeum,” or below ground newly renovated area is opened to the public for the first time ever)

You will also see some reconstructions of the machinery the Romans used to lift the wild animals or to create the "special effects" for the games.

The ticket includes admission to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Please note this won't be a guided tour but simple admission.

These tickets are nominative, meaning they are assigned to specific travelers. The ticket office staff will verify your ID at the entrance. If there is a mismatch with your identity document, access to the Colosseum will not be allowed, and no refund will be issued. Access to Sites: The Colosseum requires you to enter at the time shown on your ticket. With the same ticket, you will also have access to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill anytime during their opening hours.
